Floracopeia's "blue gum" eucalyptus is bright, clean, warmly uplifting and acts a natural support for deep and clear breathing. Eucalyptus globulus is the most commonly used variety of eucalyptus world wide, and has a pleasant and easily recognizable fragrance. This bright, energizing nectar is distilled for Floracopeia from Indian eucalyptus trees.
Eucalyptus has an affinity for enhancing the breath, making it suitable for topical application as well as for direct inhalation for supporting the whole family’s healthy breathing during challenging winter months. This eucalyptus is often used therapeutically because of its high (70-85%) eucalyptol content; its powerful properties make it a star support for direct inhalation or in diffuser therapy.
Cleansing and penetrating, eucalyptus oil may be used to support clearing the body and energizing the mind when tired and overworked. It may also be used topically or in a spritzer as an insect repellent. Eucalyptus can be safely and effectively added to many household cleaners: just add a few drops to your cleaning products for a fresh boost in scent and cleaning efficiency.
Eucalyptus has a refreshing and stimulating action on the mind, helping to improve concentration. It is associated with the alleviation of grief and sorrow, as well as opening the heart and intellect while equalizing the emotions. Adding eucalyptus to your diffuser blends add a crispness that can balance the sweetness of floral or the intensity of citrus scents.
Diffuser: Eucalyptus globulus has a pleasing and cool, crisp fragrance. Diffuse it in your home daily to alleviate congestion and to help purify the air. Can be blended with other oils like peppermint and conifers to increase effectiveness.
Non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-sensitizing. Excessive use of this oil may cause headaches. Do not take eucalyptus essential oil internally. Pregnant women, nursing mothers and children should not use this product without first consulting a licensed healthcare practitioner.
There are over 900 different species of eucalyptus, of which at least 500 produce essential oils. Native to Tasmania and Australia where it is a traditional home remedy, the leaves of this tree are smoked to improve difficulties in breathing.
Approved as a food additive, the oil is used in the preparation of liniments, inhalants, cough syrups, toothpastes and as a pharmaceutical flavoring. It is also used in veterinary care and dentistry and as a fragrance component in soaps, detergents and toiletries. A variety of dyes are produced from different parts of the plant.
Africans use the finely powdered bark as an insect repelling dust, while people from around the world use it for anything from maintaining healthy gums to relieving joint discomfort. Australian aborigines traditionally used the leaves to treat wounds. Early Australian settlers named eucalyptus globulus the "fever tree" because of its efficacy in treating septic and typhoid fevers.

Each flower is profoundly intelligent and holds specific transformational information found in nature that can help us realize our true nature and help us shift out of self-limiting, self-destructive patterns and behaviors. Since flower essences are energetic in nature their benefits are not due to a bio-chemical interaction with the body but instead they work on the various energy pathways and fields such as the acupuncture meridians to create body, mind and spirit health and well-being.

Floracopeia is very excited to offer this exquisite, eco-harvested, sustainable sandalwood oil from a reforestation project on the big island of Hawaii. The oil from this unique species of sandalwood, Santalum paniculatum, represents one of the rare success stories of the preservation of an endangered aromatic treasure.
Let this Floracopeia favorite infuse your meditation and skin care routines with the pristine healing elements of nature at it’s purest. This precious sandalwood oil has a sweet, smooth yet earthy aromatic profile, reflecting the pure and natural elements of its native Hawaiian habitat. The qualities of this oil are quite unique, similar in some ways to what everyone has come to expect from a traditional Santalum alba in its deep, amazingly woody richness.
Sandalwood oil is among the very best oils to use on a daily basis as a healing perfume. It is considered highly "sattvic," which means it promotes good health, tranquility, clarity and is very safe to use. Renowned especially for its calming, uplifting powers, the “divine oil” of sandalwood has been a staple of spiritual practices from ancient times to the present day. A quintessential component of ritual and meditation, sandalwood calms a worried mind and supports inner serenity. Sandalwood oil promotes what is known in Ayurveda as "ojas," or nutritional essence; therefore, sandalwood is strengthening to the vital health of the entire body while giving satisfaction to the mind.
The Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood eco-project is actively involved in preservation and reforestation of this rare tree. Only carefully selected trees that are already in a state of decline are harvested to distill the precious heartwood. New trees are continually replanted.
