About Rosemary, Verbenone Essential Oil

Its warming, invigorating qualities stimulate blood flow and tissue regeneration, which in turn brightens dull skin, and effectively treats acne, eczema and psoriasis. The oil is also beneficial to a variety of hair and scalp conditions.

As a superior tonic, rosemary relieves muscular stiffness, cramping, and aches and pains of the joints, and lessens the symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism. It has the highest hydrogen content of all essential oils, making it powerfully warming and stimulating. An expectorant, rosemary essential oil provides support for the respiratory system, relieving colds, coughs, congestion, and bronchitis. The brain and nervous system also benefit from rosemary's stimulating properties, and its ability to enhance mental clarity and lessen fatigue.

How to Use Rosemary Oil

Rosemary verbenone can be applied topically (always diluted), as a compress, in the bath, through direct inhalation, or diffuser.

For sore joints and muscles, dilute 10 drops of rosemary verbenone in 15 ml carrier oil and gently massage affected areas.

For hair and scalp, use recommended recipe, applying from a dropper onto scalp. Massage into scalp and hair, and leave overnight for a nourishing complete head treatment.

Dilute rosemary verbenone (3%) and apply as a hot compress to relieve menstrual cramps.

A drop of rosemary in the bath can be simultaneously stimulating and relaxing.

To enhance mental clarity and improve respiratory congestion, use direct inhalation of rosemary, or diffusion.
