The Learning Garden Grant & Message from David Crow

We are excited to let you know about some major news involving the Learning Garden and the possibility that they may receive a significant grant from Tom’s of Maine….with your help.

This is a huge opportunity for the Learning Garden, one of the country’s largest and most successful school, community and herbal gardens. You can vote for the Learning Garden at the Tom’s of Maine website and help them win a significant grant that is greatly needed for this incredible project to continue to thrive in the future.

By helping the Learning Garden, Floracopeia is offering you a chance to receive a very special aromatic treasure that has just arrived at our office (more details below).

Tom’s of Maine Grant: $20,000

The Learning Garden is among the finalists for Tom’s of Maine’s community project sponsorship. Tom’s will be awarding five grants of $20,000 each to the projects which receive the most votes on their website.

The folks at the Learning Garden have asked us to spread the word about the contest and we are doing everything we can to help them secure the grant. Below is a message from gardenmaster, David King and a personal audio message from David Crow that was recorded earlier today.

Message from David King

Gardenmaster, The Learning Garden

Tom’s of Maine has five grants of $20,000 each and we were accepted to be in the final running and now we have to get out the vote to win the grant. We got word this week we are close to the Top 10, but we have to be in the Top 5. You can vote once every 24 hours and we are asking everyone on our list to vote for us. For a few minutes a day, just like at public radio, your vote will leverage $20,000 for The Learning Garden.  Using this link, please vote early and vote often – the contest closes October 30th and we  need to be in the Top 5.  We thank you for your support!

David King,
Gardenmaster
The Learning Garden

Floracopeia Sandalwood Oil Give-Away

In an effort to support the Learning Garden secure the $20,000 grant from Tom’s of Maine, we have organized a separate Floracopeia contest in which we’ll be giving away five bottles of a special new aromatic treasure: The Raj Collection Sandalwood Oil from Sri Lanka

This sandalwood oil, which will be released in the coming months as part of our new Raj Collection, is the true Santalum album, often referred to as ‘Indian Sandalwood’…and it is precious.

Here’s how it works: You are allowed to vote for the Learning Garden once per day on the Tom’s of Maine website from now until October 30th. Each time you vote on their site, come back to this blog page and leave a comment below letting us know you voted (as well as any other thoughts or comments that you’d like to share).

For each time you vote and then leave your comment on this blog, you will increase your chances of winning one of the five bottles of the Raj Collection Sandalwood Oil. We will randomly choose five winners of the Sandalwood oil on Monday, November 2nd.

Please support the Learning Garden and vote!
