Vetiver sounds like a great ally to have! It amazes me to think that one plant can be planted in toxic wastelands to absorb their waste, recyling these molecules into fragrance, while "rooting" those who take time to breathe in their essence. It is amazing to think of these plants' kindness in giving their gifts to anyone who will have them, without worry of not being appreciated. May we take a lesson from the plants and give our gifts, whatever they may be, so unselfishly, so often without thanks, in a the light-hearted way that the plants do. I hope that vetiver can remind me to nourish those where I live, sweetly and quietly.
