Why does your website say Essential Oils are not for Internal Use?
There are two levels of aromatherapy: general uses for home and family, and medical uses under the supervision of a trained clinician. We feel that for general home and family use essential oils are best applied in dilution topically, diffused in a diffuser, diluted for bath purposes, used for direct palm inhalation, or other such safe methods. The safe use of essential oils for the home and family can be very effective for preventing and benefitting many health conditions, but the internal use of essential oils for treating medical problems should be done only under the guidance of a licensed healthcare practitioner to avoid potential side effects from the highly concentrated and potentially toxic nature of undiluted oils. How can I use essential oils topically?
Some essential oils, such as lavender, rose and attars, can be applied directly to the skin. Others need to be diluted in a carrier oil, such as jojoba or marula oil. Some should not be used topically. The typical body oil recipe calls for 10 - 15 drops of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil. You can use more for a facial oil or an oil that will only be used on a small portion of skin. Always use caution when using spicy oils or citrus oils topically as they can cause irritation or phototoxicity and should only be applied diluted and in small amounts. What is an attar?
An attar is an essential oil, typically floral, that is distilled into sandalwood essential oil, usually to fix an especially delicate fragrance. Attars are generally used as perfumes. Though the traditional attar is a co-distillation in sandalwood, please note that Floracopeia has created a few attars that are distilled into vetiver essential oil.
How do I use my charcoal, wood and/or resin correctly?
The best way to burn our woods and resins is in a bowl burner, using charcoal. You would fill your bowl burner with white ash. Next, light a piece of charcoal and place it into the ash. Please note that our charcoal does not have all of the harmful chemicals that go into self-lighting charcoal, so you may have to hold a flame to it longer that expected and blow a little until you see a red coal begin to form. Once your charcoal is lit, you simply place your wood or resin on top of the charcoal and enjoy!

When will my order ship?
During the week your order usually ships on the day it was received, or the day after . You will be emailed tracking information for your order as soon as it ships. You can enter your tracking number at www.google.com to track your package.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer many international shipping options through UPS and USPS. You will be able to choose your preferred carrier and method at checkout.
My package says that it was delivered, but I didn't get it.
USPS may have attempted delivery at your address and been unable to fit the package in your mailbox. Ideally, they would leave a note, but this does not always happen. Your package should be at your local post office.

No, but if you are in California, you will be charged sales tax if you don't have one.

Can I come to your office in Nevada City, CA?
We do not bottle and ship from our office. We have an array of testers that you can come in and experience, but we are not set up for walk-in sales. If you are in the area and wish to make a purchase; Haalo is located at 311 Commercial Street in Nevada City, and they currently carry a nice selection of our oils.
