Highest Quality Guarantee.
An Eco-Certified, Organic Peppermint Oil from southern Africa has a clarifying, refreshing, true peppermint oil fragrance. It is a therapeutic grade, pure peppermint essential oil that can be used to stimulate the mind, relieve tension headaches or treat fever and flu. The oil of peppermint soothes sore muscles, relieves tooth aches and can treat a variety of other common ailments. Peppermint oil is an important addition to every essential oil collection.
Health Benefits of Peppermint Oil:

Pure peppermint oil is a strong, penetrating essential oil well known for its anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties. Peppermint oil is stimulating to the mind and nerves and enhances concentration and study. It is excellent for mental fatigue especially when you need an immediate effect. Peppermint essential oil will help you 'digest' information, assimilate new ideas, and develop emotional endurance. In addition, use pure peppermint essential oil for soothing and clearing colds, flu and fevers. When diluted and applied to the forehead and temples, peppermint oil alleviates tension headaches. Inhale the oil of peppermint through steam inhalation or a diffuser to cleanse the respiratory system of sticky, yellow mucous and to clear the sinuses. When properly diluted, the oil of peppermint can be used in a mister or on a compress to cool down on a hot summer day. Peppermint oil can also be used in a base oil to massage sore muscles, bruises and nerve pain. "The very smell of it alone recovers and refreshes the spirit"--The Roman naturalist, Pliny, on Peppermint

How To Use Peppermint Oil:

Use our Peppermint oil in a diffuser to freshen and enliven your home. In addition, diffuse peppermint oil to keep the sinuses and respiratory system clear and vital. To use on the body, peppermint oil should be diluted in a base oil at about 2% (approximately 12 drops of essential oil to 1oz of base oil). Massage this diluted peppermint essential oil to the forehead and temples to alleviate tension headaches. The same peppermint oil mixture can be used for direct palm inhalation 1-3 times per day to refresh and stimulate a fatigued or sluggish mind and to massage inflamed and sore muscles. As an alternative to bleach or other harsh cleaners, one drop of Floracopeia’s pure peppermint essential oil, applied to a damp sponge, can be used to wipe down non-wood countertops and school desks to disinfect and add a sweet, clean scent to the room. A few drops of Peppermint essential oil in a bowl of water outside, doubles as an effective insect repellent and cooling element on hot summer days.

Peppermint Oil in the Global Garden: Ecological, Cultural and Economic Benefits:

Floracopeia's pure peppermint oil is a fine Eco-cert organic peppermint oil from southern Africa. At present there are about thirty-three distilleries in the southern Africa region distilling a variety of cultivated and wild harvested aromatic plants. Floracopeia is currently working with one of the primary organizers and distributors for those distilleries, to offer common and well-established aromatic products (such as tee tree) as well as to develop new ones. Read more about our South African essential oils.

Most of the cultivated essential oils are either certified organic through international certifying agencies such as Eco-Cert, or non-certified organic, meaning that they are organically produced but have yet to receive full documentation; the remainder of the oils are ethically wild-crafted from healthy ecosystems. All these essential oil projects are linked directly to poverty alleviation programs established for the dual purpose of caretaking local environments while producing sustainable economic benefits.
